I went into the dealer about 2-3 weeks ago, Spoke to the service manager and told him about everything I've done to the car, and it is still feathering!!
(had alignment check at 2000 miles, it was within specs. around 6500 miles noise start to generate, swap tires at 7000 miles. ) The service manager told me to put another 1000-2000 miles and they will double check after and possibly replace the tires. I told him that I spoke to the regional service & part manager for Nissan, and also the Technician trainers at NNA had help me did the alignment. I think that help a lot!
Went in again yesterday, got the service manager to write up an repair order to replace both front tires for me, and also the window streaks! I should have it replace sometime next week, and they supposed to re-align it again once the tires is replace. And from what I understand, that they supposed to bring in the toe and max it out ( // \\ ) . That's the fix they have for now? But Not sure if that would cure the feathering for sure or not, from my point of view? But we'll see? I will try to get the specs of my alignment when I get my tires replace.

 

Amazing they take that kind of attitude. There are a lot of people on this forum that have aftermarket wheels. Have any of them been told be whoever installed them that they must accept scratches on their $1000 purchases...........I doubt it.
