Anybody else having this issue?

When I accellerate in first and second gear, slowly, I hear a high pitched squeal around 4-5k rpm but nowhere else. Really strange, no big deal, but kinda annoying since the car is brand new.

 

Mine does the EXACT same thing ... I thought I was crazy. Sounds like a bearing to me ??

Mine also makes a "squeak" like a belt when you punch it from a roll. A real short "squeak"

I have this I always assumed it was the fuel line since it has to do with the accellerator pedal. there is a certain RPM band where you can isolate it and make it squal as long as you want.

 

Most everybody has it. It's the sound of your throttle body opening and air being sucked at high speed through it. I hear it everytime I step on the accelerator.

 

Same here. I also have that noise when accelerate from 1st and 2nd gear. Pretty annoying. Is this a problem or it's supposed to be like that?

 

Thanks for the posts guys.. Man, this has been driving me NUTS! I guess I will just live with it. Whatever, thats what we get for buying the first bunch of production cars.
