Auto Tranny question
Got myself a 04.5 Daytona blue 350z Roadster. 30k miles on it. Wanting to change auto tranny fluid. Does anyone know how many qt of Matic J ATF its needs after old auto tranny fluid is drained? Thank you.

Just had mine done. The details are or should be in the back of your owners manual. You also require the washer too, best to get that from Nissan (cheap as chips for the washer, it was less than NZ$3, so less US$). And yes you do need a machine to do the flush. It makes a huge difference.
Thank you very much all for all your advices and help. I guess i will take it back to the dealer so they can do the flush for me. BTW, does wheel alignment mean alot? my steering wheel is alittle off. When i drive on the level and straight surface, it somewhat steers itself to the right. Sorry for all the trouble. Thanx again.

It only matters if you enjoy having tread on your tires. Just get an allignment and call it a day. It's cheaper than buying tires. Good luck.

Beside anything will make it easier to handle and drive, and you won't wreck your tyres, ultimately will save you a lot of $$$$.

This is one of the things I say you should take it to the dealership and have done. The fluid is $10-$12 a quart, you'll need about 9. See what they want for a flush. If it's not that much more than you buying that much fluid let them do it.
Great. Now i have decided, i should take it back to get it flushed. Since a bottle is $10, and getting it flushed is not that far apart in pricing from a Nissan Dealer. keep it nice and clean, at least from my end and for the auto tranny sack. Thank you all for all the great help.

Go get it sorted.
