My car doesn't always crank. Sometimes I have to try a couple of times before it will. They say they've narrowed it down to this being the problem and want around $700 to fix.

I found the part on courtesyparts for $470. Anybody had to replace one of these before?

 

I have never replaced the IPDM but this looks like a simple plug-and-play module. Unfortunately what you cannot do is troubleshoot after the install.

 

What could go wrong with it ???

 

Its a quick fix but --what cant just be repaired ???
