Make sure that you use GL4 compliant gear oil.

GL5 can be used for the dif but not the tranny FYI

Z has quite a bit of torque, pulling a jet ski would be fairly easy.

I dont know about the extra wear on the tranny tho lol

Its only 600 to 700 pounds with little tongue weight, no big deal, the car can easily handle it. No need for a truck, but that is the typical american way.

Do you guys have any recommendation for the tranny fluid?
I heard OEM or Amsoil would be the best option...
Is there anything that I can just pick up from autozone on a wknd?

I have an 08 and I did mine at 5k.

I used A gallon of MTL 75w. There's threads that say you need to mix the 75 & 90 to avg 80 but that's not true. The manual says 70-90 range. 70 would be for the cold states and 90 would be for the track guys.

I got my car certified pre owned from power Nissan but idkif they did the tranny fluid yet or not and it doesn't say that they did it on the car fax does any know if they change tranny fluid when they certifie the car?
