Default no start issues

my 04 z has had the engine out of it for roughly a year. a month ago i put a new engine in it. (without a filter on it)it started, ran for 5 seconds and shut off. started, ran for 10 sec shut off. started ran for 30 sec, shut off. then i went to Africa for a month. when i came home, i started it, drove it for roughly 2 min and turned it off, installed popcharger, and strut bar. started, ran for 10 seconds, shut off. wont start now. i tired starting it for roughly 3 minutes put together. i tried plugging in the white box under the cd player but didnt change a thing. the dte says 23miles. could it be out of gas?

Yes very likely. Also is it the original ECU, if not it could just be the imobilizer not allowing the car to run.

ok, so i pulled the plugs after doing the idle learning prodecure, and plugs a soaking wet. could it be a possibility that the 440's i have in it are too large for no boost/ tune? im reluctant to change then as the shop i had the TT kit installed on cut the injector plugs about a 1/2" from the plug.

Are you still having a problem starting the car or has it fired up yet? If your engine hasn't been started yet and you have been attempting to start it, then yes there will be a lot of unburned fuel in the combustion chamber(ie: on the spark plugs.)

ok I definately missed the point where you had roughly double the injector in there with no tuning... Your car is flooding! Its choking without enough air in there.

Yep, P0335 is EXACTLY why it won't start. Worse when that sensor sits and gets cold. Opposite of what you would think. Heat Soak is your FRIEND with that POS.

Don't ask me how I know...
