Air leak in driver-window
I recently installed new speakers in my Z. I also upgraded the tweeters. Since then I can hear an air leak in the corner where the tweeter panel is. I know i put everything back on right. So what could it be? I'm thinking it might be the rubber seal around the panel. Any advice?
I bought my car in march, and noticed this problem. Water also leaked through at touch-free car washes with the high power water jets. they installed new weather stripping, but I still have the same problem. There are a few threads on here about the window regulator causing this issue.
I have this problem as well. I was thinking.. Would readjusting your windows to close up higher solve this? After the dealership did the TSB on my windows, I think they positioned the windows a bit lower than it's supposed to sit.

that's annoying i have the same problem from the driver side, specially if i go over 60.. took the car to dealer got the rubber adjusted and like 2 screws changed, left the dealer .. same problem! nothing changed.. they just said most Z's are like this and even if they change all of the rubber frame it will be the same in 2-3 months..
I noticed the same thing. When I push on the rubber stuff from the inside it seems to go away. Either the weatherstipping is not pusing against the window hard enough or the window is not going up completely.
Most of our monZters suffer from 3 "little annoyances": 1. Power window motor(s) work part-time. 2. Faulty hatch door strut(s). 3. Gas latch release
thingie (i.e. you have to depress the button various times to get the gas door open). Otherwise, I LOVE MY ZED!
