Slip light stays on and cannot turn my vdc back on!

I was messing around in a parking lot last night and after doing some sliding around my slip light stays on and I cant turn my vdc back on but then i turn the car off then back on its all good.what is up with that?

Guess I'll say it... use the search!!! This happens to many of us who doing donuts and screwing around, if your car starts going backwards then it goes into this failsafe mode. Just turn off the engine and start it back up... should go away. Keep in mind your ABS will NOT work during this so if you dont restart the engine and go screwing around more and have to brake hard, you will lock your front wheels.

This has happened to me twice now in the last few days but I wasn't doing donuts or anything... just going around a corner with the VDC off. And I wasn't drifting of fishtailing either. I've never experienced this before and I've had my Z for almost a year now and done plenty of sliding. Hmmmm....
