Default Hissing Exhaust

My exhaust seems to make a hissing sound every few seconds or so when the car is idling. Is anyone else noticing this?

I got the same hissing sound at idle. I was worried that the exhaust is leaking, but after searching and asking, the hissing sound is from the resonator. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. It kinda hisses then stop then hiss right?

Default hissing

an idea--- most cars will create some amount of water in the exhaust. i wonder if this is happening, then the condensed water rolls to a hot spot in the tail pipe and hisses as it hits the hot metal- I will try to listen (although out here in AZ it is 115 degrees, and no humidity, so no condensation in the summer...

hahaha.. guys its nothing to worry about, check this out next time you turn your car on (preferably when its cold) go into the passenger side and open up the glove box.. and listen carefully, in the back or under that compartment is your fuel pump, that is what makes the hissing sound.. happens in ALL z's

Same sound here, but it goes away once the car gets to operating temp.

The hissing is normal. Had it the day I picked up the Z. Still have it even after the exhaust. Also if you have really good ears. There is a whining sound at idle.
