Hey guys, I have been using Amsoil 0w-30 since last august or september and the oil pressure at idle is usually right at 30psi. Since it has warmed up I recently found that after about 15mins of driving, at idle it will be 10psi. I feel like this is way too low, any ideas?

 

btw, 03 with 42,000 miles.

Check your oil level...........

 

I run 0-30 also. This is what the guage should look like....

 

A good rule of thumb is 10 psi for every 1,000rpm. If your Z is idling at 750-800rpm and have 10 psi of oil pressure you should be fine.

 

Oil level is fine, no mods, and its a little lower than half way between 0 and 30. Its around 10 psi.
So corradosic, if I am idling lower than 1000 rpm, then its ok?
