Is your window-drop working when you open the door? I had this problem because the rubber boot on the actuator button was pinching. If the rubber gets pinched enough, it will hold the button in not letting the lights come on or the windows to drop. When you open the door, it's toward the rear of the car near the bottom.

If the problem is off and on I lean toward something in the ignition making intermittent contact.

It's the BCM, the Body Control Module; I hope that isn't fried, it's not cheap.

Just run a search on BCM for all the info.

Default Have you solved the problem?

I havethe exactly same issue with my 350z. The interior lights and mirror lights do not turn on. The windows are working just fine as well as the trunk light. I've checked the fuses and everything seems to be Ok. Please help!!!

Yes, I am having the same problem and have been told that the capacitor has to be replaced. I think they actually call it the BCM. Apparently it costs about $275 for the BCM.
