Default ECU Replaced

Long story short, the previous owner of my Z had the ECU replaced (which wasn't even necessary to do to correct the original problem) but anyway, he only had 1 key with him at the time of re-programming. So now that I own the Z, only 1 of the keys are programmed.

I can re-program the key fob no problem with the DIY post on here, but what about the chip in the key? Any way to re-program that? or do I need to go to the stealership to get this done?

the dealership is the only place that will be able to do this, and i believe it is rather expensive.
