help! code is P1121
in every car 1121 is throttle control is LOWER than expected. If it was the TB you'd have another code.
It's a bad sensor imo. they're relatively inexpensiveand a lot of folk here deal with this issue.

However, the discussion of DTC P1121 is incorrect. It is NOT a throttle body fault; rather a faulty APS or Accelerator Position Switch and also called electronic throttle control sensor (or something like that). This is the small unit above your accelerator pedal that converts where your throttle is (physically) and sends the signal to the throttle 's DBW (drive-by-wire) system.
Relatively easy to test (just need a MultimeterVOM) and replace.Also not terribly expensive.
