What oil filter is the best for our cars?

 

I went with K & N. They are a bit hard to find, unlike the air filters, but I was able to find a supplier on the web who offers them at a great price and no shipping or tax to pay. Given 'em a try: PACE

 

I change my oil every 3000 miles and use the stock oil filter. Ordered 1/2 dozen from Courtesy. I feel confident that the stock filter will not present any problems with this oil change interval. Used Mobil1 since 12,500 miles.

 

Go with a K&N HP-1008. A side benefit is that you can tighten/remove the filter with a 1" socket, as the filter has hex molded into the end.
