Default clutch smell...is this normal because i just have 400 miles?

I bought my white enthusiast 6 speed on tuesday and this is my first manual...the first day i had it i stalled it a few times but i feel like a pro now never stall it and my shifts are VERY smooth other than the occasional 1 to 2 hiccup....but anyway when i get home and put the new car in the garage (it now has 410 miles on it) i smell a bit of clutch...is this normal cuz its a new car or am i screwing up?

you might be smelling the cat, it can smell on a new car after enough heat.

or you might be slipping the clutch too much in order to keep it smooth... hard to say without smelling it or driving with you.

if your pretty sure your not slipping the clutch alot, then its likely the cat.

Mine did that also when I first got it. I think its just the clucth getting worn in. I think its normal on new cars. I have 1800 miles now and I dont get that smell anymore.

I didnt think about that but it sounds more logical.
