hey everyone ... today i was coming out of bank and my car kept turning over and over but wouldnt start ... i did that about 4 times then i let it sit for 4 min and then it started i thought it was good from there ... then i stopped sumwhere else after about 10 min and came out and it did the same .. it was pooring out ... i dont have a cold air intake but 2 days ago i got my exhaust done .. a remade 3" y pipe cat back .. but it wasnt doing this that day ... i was thinking maybe water in my gas or something in that region? would anyone know what could be happening? there are no codes ... its only got 25k on the car/motor ... runs great ... im stumped ....

 

who put water in your gas?

 

My car did the same over a prolonged period of time. Had to have the immobilizer changed. Haven't had a problem since. If you keep experiencing problems with it just shoot me a PM and I'll get the part #

 

Was your car at full operating temperature? And was it a warm/hot day?

 

no it wasnt hott and the gauge is always a little below the middle, is that normal?? and im hoping its the immobilizer .. thats what the "wicked witch from the east" said it could be from nissan lol .. but i dont know .. i will keep people updated thanks for the input guys ..

 

I've had that happen to me 2 or 3 times over the course of owning my Z. It's been 5 years now. It's never caused a big problem. Maybe just some random gliche...
