Default Passenger window controls wont work?

Hey guys my passenger window will not roll up or down by using the controls in the car. Last night i made a big mistake. I wanted to see if it was the window motor itself or just the controls so i used the remote to roll them down. Sure enough it went right down. Now i have a problem i cant get it back up lol.

Anybody know of things i can troubleshoot for this? Nissan cant get to my car till next week and this is my DD so im in need of anything that can help. I left my battery off overnight just to see if possibly that would do anything and no help. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a switch problem. Either the passenger switch or the main drivers switch.

Hey Tim, can you post the instructions for the window switch reset procedure please. I want to see if that will cure my driver's side window before I replace the motor. I would really appreciate it.

Z's are know for window motor problems --I was lucky since I have an 03 Track and just had problems last month. There is an excellent thread for tacking your door apart and fixng or replacing the electric motor. I tried the fixing but ended up buying a new motor ($200) and installing. If you are patient and can follow directions , alolow about 4-5 hours.

Yeah I was just looking at Val's write up. Think I'll just go buy a new switch and do the install. Seems straight forward enough if you take your time.

For anyone else:

well the motor isnt the problem. Like i said i rolled it down with the key fob but now cant get it back up, the key fob will only roll down and not up.

My controls on the driver or passenger side doesnt work. My driver windo works fine though. Reset for the window switch? anybody have any info on that? thanks again guys.

Ok this is gonna sound really stupid, but for about 15 minutes I thought my passenger window was broken, but it turns out I had just disabled it using the toggle switch on the drivers door. If the switch is enabled the passenger window doesn't go up or down regardless of which switch you use.
