Default driver's window motor broke

whats up guys. another window motor broken...

4 year old car and it dies so easily?

for a while, i was able to give it a knock and it would roll up. but now its completley dead.

any suggestions? is the motor actually dead or does something need to be clean?

or if anyone can give me a site to buy one? (besides nissan)

thanks

Cliff notes for other thread: Bad window motors for most 350z's...can try cleaning, not guaranteed to work...buy a window motor from Auto Zone, comes with lifetime warranty....you will eventually do this yourself it 30 min or less.

it will work, atleast for another good stretch.

autozone motors are known to fail, so the lifetime warranty that comes on them is useful. You'll be a pro at installing them in no time!

What you need to do is: Find a friend who has a lifetime warranty on the opposite side of your window motor. Buy your lifetime warranty on your window side.

Now, whenever either one of you or your friend's motor breaks, you'll always have a lifetime warranty motor

---at half the cost.

hey guys..

the nissan parts shipped from WEst Covina Nissan for $180.00 each side.

Mine just recently failed and to even think about chancing it with a rebuilt from autozone is incomprehensible. The rebuilt, mind you, costs $150.00 with tax. You are only saving $30.00 bucks. is it worth the aggravation of taking that door panels off 3 to 4 times per year?

If the nissan parts lasted 6 years (i have an 03) before failing, i think i will go with a Nissan part that will last me at least another 5 before replacing it again.
