Default Battery fit

After searching forum, it appears DuraLast or Optima are good choices to replace battery. But I signed-on to Optima website, and it had notes for Z: 1) check hood clearance, 2) may need adapter. Question: any comments from members about above batteries/fit? I have 2005-Z.

I didn't even worry about what fits, as long as the positive and negative were on the correct side.

The adapter is because the Optima is a little short. Just be sure that when you shop for a battery that the terminals are positioned correctly. As long as to tell your salesperson what make model year the battery is for you shouldn't have any problems. I just changed mine today...went to consumer reports and found that the Advanced Auto Parts brand (Titanium) was ranked in the top 2 behind the die hard platinum...and cost half as much.
