So I wanted to replace the doom light by some L.e.d ones. They are 6 l.e.d bulbs in a closed circuit with relay. All I had to to was to hook up the negative and possitive wires to the 2 ends. I tested it and it worked. Now I put the l.e.d in and tried to hook up to the 2 ends again. I think I got the wrong end accidently so I saw a spark, then nothing works...
everything else works but the interior light now. Checked the fuse and they are fine. Tested the L.e.d. on battery power and they are fine, too.
I put the oem bulbs back on and it still does not work...


anyone knows of any other causes and how to fix this problem?

 

well i have a g35 so i'm not sure if it's the same, but you should try disconnecting your battery for 30 seconds.. also not sure if this applies to the z's, but we have a fusebox behind the battery, I blew the taillight fuse one time and it caused my taillights, driving lights and clear corners to stop working.. do all your lights work besides your domes?

 

yup, everything else works but the doom light.
I checked the fuse box and the fuse for doom light is ok still...but still will go replace it just in case...idk
