Viberation in rear View Mirror...
I've noticed that in past 2 weeks or so, my rear view mirror has started to viberate a lot. I tried to tighten the torx screw but it appears to be tight.. It's started after the car has been sitting in the hot sun. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this.. And could it be the rear hatch that's viberating not the mirror?? Anyone else experience this??

Turn off the radio and check the rear view mirror. If it aint the Bose sub that causing the problem, I have read other posts where people have had problems with the Homelink causing creeking and rattling. If i recall correctly, these guys just went to the dealer and had the homelink rear view replaced under warranty.

I know for a fact, it's not the radio. It happenes with it on or off.. And there is no creaking or other noises.. Just viberation.. Again, it started to happen after the car was parked in the hot sun.. Guess the joints on the mirror have become loose and cause the mirror to viberate.. I took the mirror and raised it then tipped it down. There appear to be two sets of joints and this stopped it for now.. I'll have to see if it returns.. Oh.. forgot to mention, I have the optional mirror with the compass. Got it as a gift from the dealer..

I had a similar problem, but not only did the mirror vibrate, it also made a very annoying rattling noise. Took it back to the dealer, they replaced it with a brand new part under warranty. Problem solved.

I also had the vibration in the homelink mirror and I fixed it by using the very thin, wicking type of CA glue (model glue, super glue, crazy glue, etc.) along the top seam of the mirror while squeezing the two halves together. That's solved the problem so far.
