I typically follow the Schedule 1 maintenance schedule on Nissan's website...

http://www.nissanusa.com/owning/vehi...intenance.html

Just select your mileage... I usually do as much of the maintenance myself. If I can't do it all, I take it to a shop to do the rest.

seems like this should be covered in your owners manual, thats if you still have it. Not sure about the z since i only got 23000 miles on my 06 so far but i know my GTP owners manual went over service requirements up to 200k miles. Other than that dont really know what to tell you except maybe search around some more on the forums possibly.

It doesn't matter, it's not in the Owners Manual anyway, it's in the Maintenance Manual. Assuming that you didn't get it either, you can download one from the Owners section of the Nissan website or from their Tech info site: http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/nissan/

replace engine oil and filter, lubricate all locks/hinges, replace automatic transmission/CVT fluid, replace differential oil, replace engine air filter, replace engine coolant/flush system, replace engine drive belts, replace in cabin microfilter, replace manual tranmission oil, replace radiator cap, replace radiator hoses, replace transfer oil

and it says to inspect
all lights, axle and suspension, break lines and cables, brake pads, rotors, drums and linnings, cruise control vacuum hoses, drive shaft boots, exhaust system, front suspension ball joints, fuel lines/connections, fuel tank vapor vent system hoses, propeller shaft, steering gear and linkage and steering linkage ball joints

thats all the stuff u gotta do, but prob dont have to do half of the ones listed by the manual

did the 06 come with cvt? or is it just being general?

Yea its pricey stuff. I have crayon markings on my transmision plug and some mechanic said thats means its been changed. For only 65000 miles it doesnt seem you should change it more than once. I wish they would have made some way to view the fluid without a machine. i can do everything on that list myself really. dont think it should cost much in parts (fluids).

I did my 60k recently. Did a coolant flush (total ***** to do btw), differential and transmission fluid. Oil change and filter (amsoil once/year). air filter wash/recharge. Checked brake pads/tires. Did it my self so spent about 150 in all.
