Default different problem with window...

Im having a unique problem with both of my windows. The windows goes up and down fine, with and without the auto function, and with or without the door closed. But once the key is turned off, as soon as i open my door to get out of the car, the window rolls ALL the way back down. I tried the reset procedure plenty of times but its not working. It went bad the same exact time my passenger window motor took a crap too. Any ideas???

it sounds like the motor reset procedure have you pulled off your door pannel and done it?

ya as i mentioned in my initial post, ive tried the reset procedure many times...nothing. i think its because its a different problem. it only happens when my key is OFF and when i open the door, BOTH windows will roll ALL the way down at the same exact time...as if im holding the unlock button on my keyfob

Have you checked the drivers side door lock on the outside. Someone may have stuck something in there while trying to open the car. If you insert your key and try to unlock the car and if you leave there it for more than two seconds then both windows will automatically go down.

O.K. problem fixed. The dealership found that the connection on the window micro switch inside the door panel had come loose and had corrosion in it. They cleaned it up and reconnected and as is well.
