Here's the skinny!

For about 2 weeks now my Z was not starting up like is should. It seemed like you had to hold the key for like two seconds before it turned on.

Then about two days ago when I was taking off to work my Z said FU and wouldn't turn on. Long story short my battery was dead!!!!!!

I got a new battery and let me tell you that the Fairlady is running great. I don't know what it was but it seems to run smoother and has a better response now.

So I say change your battery when you feel like your Z is not feeling so well.

Anyway, I checked my battery and it's still the old one. What kind of false advertising is this?

 

CHANGE YOUR OWN BATTERY!!!

 

That happened to me too. A day before the battery failed, the car would start but stutter to actually ignite the engine. That day it failed to start, it would not even turn on. AAA guy said that one of the cell failed and that's why it would not start. I bought a new batter. I drove it after the jump, and it died at the Pepboys lot after I parked and turned the car off so it wasn't even holding a charge by then.
