Hatch does not like to cooperate
On hills or in cold weather my hatch does not like to stay up. is there anything i can spray on it to give it some resistance or am i gonna have to by new thingys

You need new "thingys". I bought mine from jtabraham on here, who is now selling through Z1 Performance (sponsor). They're a whole lot cheaper than OEM. They have different versions. Polished, for carbon fiber and standard hatches.

Make absolutely sure you ask for the thingys because if you get the doojemaflops you could have serious issues that could void your warranty.

If you pop off the plastice under the hatch (which is kind of a bich) you can remove a lead weight as well as the rear window motor...who needs that thing anyways.
W/ this stuff out the hatch is several pounds lighter and the "thingy's" should be able to hold it up again....at least mine did.
Then you can go to home depot and get a plug for where the wiper went and you have a much cleaner/sleeker looking Z and saved your bung hole from being raped at the dealer for the thingy's.
