I am gonna have to take my car in for a 2nd tranny replacement and I don't want to get blamed for abusing my car. If you have had your tranny replaced. Please post here. This will be a good list for anyone that needs to get a replacement and doesn't want any hassles. Just print it out and take it to your dealer. It will prove a history with many cars with the same problem.

Just post the date (or close to it) and post a second time if you have had it done more than once.

2nd trans replaced @16,000 miles in April-Acme Nissan.
Both trans replaced with no questions asked and Nissan gave me a free 7 year/100k warranty. 2nd trans had different part # than 1st...

My MT was replaced July 29th. No problems in the 500 or so miles since it was replaced.

 

My first replacement was in early June. Me new tranny is starting to grind now. May be getting this one replaced soon too.

 

Replaced @ 3k miles, Another on the way at 9k miles

 

1st back @ 5 or 6k...2nd just the other day @ 16k miles (although same 3rd gear shiz started around 15k) This woud be...YES # 3!!!

If it hapens again..........Can you say, "New Car Smell."

 

1st tranny replaced 5/2003 at 7500 miles. 9000 miles, waiting for 2nd tranny. My dealer is givig me a tough time on the 2nd one, they are saying they are trying to get clearance to replace from Nissan. I need to find a new dealer.

had trans replaced at about 4000 miles due to grinding into second. was replaced about 6 months ago

also had tires replaced by factory at 7000 miles last month
