Default Brakes don't work after bleeding

so i changed out my brake fluid today and i'm pretty sure i did it properly. after changing out the fluids i took it for a test spin down the street and realized my brakes didnt work. i thought i might have got some brake fluid on the rotor so i sprayed it with a generous amount of degreaser and let it sit about 10 ten minutes but got the same result. i'm thinkin there are air bubbles inside because even when starting the car and not moving, the brakes go all the way down without any resistance. any suggestions would be great.

I don't understand why after bleeding people don't get in their car while it's still o nthe jack stands and start it and press on the brake pedal to feel if it's firm or not before putting the car back together and driving it.

+1...even though I've forgotten to check prior to driving once...but I was 17...and that's my excuse! That garage door at the dealership wasn't ever the same...but it matched the rest of em after that so no worries.

Air is the enemy of brakes. did you let it go completely dry? (the MC) if so the ABS unit has air in it. good luck. that thing is kinda a PITA to bleed.

Let us know. I'm curious to know how much I'm saving by doing it myself.

with my bleeders open and connected to a tube that's sunk in brake fluid, I tapped the calipers to shake out all the air bubbles that I could. Bleeding is a pain. Especially if you have the brembos.

that happens when you got people that think they know what they are doing but in reality have no clue.
