Track rotor replacement question
Replacing the rotors and I'm trying to think it through before I start.
With the Brembo's, when you unbolt the calipers, do you take the line off the caliper, or unbolt the junction block where the solid (hard) line and flexible line meet?
Also, anyone interested in the new Brembo slotted rotors (FS00097), I got mine at TireRack for $373. That was the best price I found.

Joyia, I'm guessing, but you shouldn't need to open the brake line. If you can't move the caliper far enough out of the way to remove the disk, you MIGHT have to remove one of the junction block mounting bolts. Then again, might be a good time for some stainless brake lines!
I'm curious.......How do your stock pads look after Gingerman?

Bruce, ask me again after this weekend. The rotors arrived last night and I won't have a chance to take everything apart until this weekend. I'm also waiting on a set of Hawk's to arrive as well.
Hey, you forgot to tell me what a PIA these wheels are to get clean!

To replace rotors all you need to do is remove the two bolts that hold the caliper to the car, that is it not need to mess with the lines. The front rotors are then lose and come right off, I have not done the rears but I have heard it is the same just use some force to remove rotors.
Dont forget to to spread out the pads inside the caliper to push back the pistons! If you dont do that, the new rotors will not fit into the caliper.
Let me know if you need any photos which I can email to you.

Thanks all for the replies. All went well with the install. Only 'issue' was breaking loose the nut on the back of the caliper. It was awkward to get to (and torqued so tight) so I got on the ground and pushed with my foot to break it.
