Removing Super glue from Paint?!
Just wondering if anyone knows how to get dried/hardened super glue of the paint without really damaging the paint. The idiot previous owner of my Z super glued some door sill highlighter things to the car, and when i went to pull it off, i noticed it was super glued. I already tried to scrape it, but noticed it was taking some of the clear coat with it. Any suggestions?

You need a solvent for superglue and I would normally say acetone. Unfortunatley its a solvent for the paint too and its likely to eat the clearcoat or more. You could try in a hidden area and see what happens.
Otherwise, the claybar suggested above is probably you're best bet. Be sure to use plenty of lube.

try a can of SD-20, its like 5$ a can, your prolly not gonna get it at a store. this is where i order mine from, www.irvansmith.com. I use it on my sprint car to get tire marks and glue off when i take off the decals and numbers, it doesn't eat up paint at all, it's pretty good stuff.
