PLEASE HELP IM TIRED OF THE RUN AROUND!!!
Hello I have a 2005 350z and I had a small fender bender in the rain which I have fixed all the damage for and settled without icbc. The vehicle is in excellent shape except for the airbags have deployed and have activated a failsafe which doesn’t allow the vehicle to restart, it wont even turn over and the car is stuck in manual drive and key is stuck in the ignition due to being stuck in drive.
I have the car located in my garage and have narrowed the problem down to either the ecu needs to be reset, wiring harness wired < due to possiblilty of it melting in order to keep the engine from restarting> or even the airbag modual needs to be reset or a combination of these, a mechanic would be able to look at it and tell especially if you work in a body shop and have done this before, which is usually the case.
thank you
