vibrating and burning smell 350z

vibrating and burning smell 350z
I have a 2006 350z roadster conv. manual
Problem:
-slowing at a light and heard this loud noise (grinding/vibrating noise) sound was similar to the sound when you go over the shoulder saftey strips on the highway except it was under my car
-car was vibrating and felt like it was being hindered
-then there was a burning smell
-the next morning it would turnover but not start
-i waited a little bit then it finally started
-The e-brake indicator had been showing for sometime before this incident and the VDC indicator has also been lit up for sometime. (at least since its been cold)
-not sure what the problem is and was wondering if anyone could offer some help???

bump i have the same problem, just got an oil change no lights on dash?? happens when in gear with clutch engaged slowing down from 3500 rpm to about 3000 rpm, sometimes the duration of the noise last longer than others, sometimes its just a blip. please help just bought the z 2 weeks ago and it only has 37k on it, its a 2004. btw no burning smell i dont think
