Just had a navigation plus reversing camera install.
Worked fine when I left the factory.
When I closed the roof - got a 2004 roadster - the cables from the reversing camera got caught in the roof mechanism and tore the cable in two.
Now I cannot start the car. I have got full dash lights and audio. When I attempt to start the engine everything goes blank.
Can anyone advise?

Check you battery terminals. Hope you didn't fry anything.

 

Did you reconnect the wires?

 

Yes, terminals firmly attached, yes reconnected wires. No change.
Cannot get reversing lights to work.
There is a faint suggestions that the starter moor solenoid engages, but the dash lights go off and nothing happens.
