Hi I'm new to this forum. Has anyone had a problem with grinding going into 5th (from either 4th or 6th). The only way I can prevent it is to let the RPMs fall to like 1800! Well I guess its the dealers problem...

 

Happened to me, they replaced the tranny. Thats all they can do.

 

Mine also grinds into 5th, and when under very hard load going into 2nd. The 5th gear grind on my tranny seems to stop after driving around for a little while. Usually only grinds with me on cold starts after the car has been sitting around for like over 4 hours
