No LSD action
Look guys, I have on 03 z with 100k on it and I bought it with 85k on it and ever since I've got the car the diff just doesn't want to grab. It is just like having an open diff. Here are the things I do know, it's not a base model, I don't have traction control or cruise, and it's on 20x10.5 in the back with 255/35's on them.
So any help guys? Do I need to change the fluid or is this common with my mods and milage?

I think it really depends on the goals of your car and your style of driving, and preferences of service needs for the diff. There are numerous options for LSD's, the factory VLSD is fine for some, while others go with OS Giken or Quaife. There are also a couple of cheaper alternatives, but unfortunately I don't know anything about them and haven't heard anyone talking about them.
I wouldn't weld the spider gears together unless all you are using the car for is drag. Why are your rear tires so small? I'm assuming you just like the stretch look?
edit: good answer above by Jason.
