Default When to service your car...mileage or time?

Hey guys...I know a lot of you out there might be in the same situation I am so wanted to get some opinions. I bought my Z new in July of 2005 and I don't drive it daily so I'm averaging 7-8k miles a year. I have changed the oil every 3k but that's it as far as engine maintenance. The car still runs like new and I've had no problems but at this rate I won't get my 30k tune up until sometime in 2010 if I go by miles....which will be 5 years of actually driving it. Are there things besides oil that should be done because of time or am I ok going by mileage? I've researched this in a few places and opinions vary...wanted to see what you all thought.

not true. as for the rest of the post, read your owners manual and decide what to do. but here is a hint: you should go by time and not miles because fluids have a habit of getting bad after time
