When to service your car...mileage or time?
Hey guys...I know a lot of you out there might be in the same situation I am so wanted to get some opinions. I bought my Z new in July of 2005 and I don't drive it daily so I'm averaging 7-8k miles a year. I have changed the oil every 3k but that's it as far as engine maintenance. The car still runs like new and I've had no problems but at this rate I won't get my 30k tune up until sometime in 2010 if I go by miles....which will be 5 years of actually driving it. Are there things besides oil that should be done because of time or am I ok going by mileage? I've researched this in a few places and opinions vary...wanted to see what you all thought.
