My OEM battery is 60 months old and doing fine. When I replace it I may as well go with OEM.

I went with the Braille B3121...comparable in cost and performance to an Optima but 13lbs less weight.

If you buy it from TireRack they include the mounting bracket.

the optima yellow top is just the model. i believe its a gel type battery instead of the fluid type on the oem. making it lighter and less vulnerable to being killed if and when the battery is completely drained. i looked around for a bit and saw that the yellow tops were nearing $100, and I would've bought one if it was available at the shop near my place. But I ended up with buying a Wal mart battery with a 3 year warranty

my oem battery went dead when it was completely drained after I left my car in storage for 3 months. I should have at least disconnected the battery, but I didn't intend on leaving the car idle for so long.
