Default Strong vibration 80+mph

Hey,

I recently picked up a set of volk sf challenge 19" from a friend. Aside from some minor curb rash, the wheels are perfect. Anyways, while driving to work today the car started to vibrate at around 80mph. I did search the forums, but all I can find are posts about hubcentric rings, I already have a set of these installed, however they are from a G35coupe. Would the fact that the hubcentric ring are from a G35coupe, cause this vibration? Would I need an alignment, (last alignment was done a few months back)? Or is this normal? Well, I was told of some vibration, but did not expect it to be so strong. It felt like i was sitting in a massage vibrating chair, and my mirrors were also vibrating as if I had a huge sub in the back. Has anyone had a similar issue? if so, how'd you go about it?
Don't know if this matters but the car is a 2005 35th anniv. 6mt. My stock wheels were smooth as silk, exaggeration, but much smoother than these.

Thanks,

get your wheels balanced and you'll be good to go.

As long as the rings fit those wheels on the G35, then they should be working fine on the Z. Probably time for a balancing job.

Have your tires rebalanced. I put on some Volk GT-7s and experienced vibration at high speeds. Turns out the mechanic didn't do a good job on balancing my tires. Check them out...

Thanks guys, I appreciate your comments, and will go ahead and get the wheels balanced. I honestly thought I'd get flamed for my question, because I actually thought about wheel balancing after I hit "submit."

Could also be an alignment issue. Going to wider/lower profile tires will make any alignment issues much more noticeable.

Thanks,
Common sense would say to have the balance checked on the wheels before putting them on.

Wheels for the Z must be "Road Force Balanced" or else you'll get a nasty vibration after 70 mph
