Some times when i keep in neutral weird knocking sound from the bottom of my Z, or sometimes when its cold its noise then when its hot its gone.. What noise is this? can anyone explain to me if its normal.. and i do kinda hear some whining noise when my music is off. I need a explanation of what type of noise this is, so i can explain to my only dealer here in guam..

You cannot take a noun (clutter) and make it a verb (cluttering) by adding “ing.”

Yup, normal, and I think it sounds pretty cool from the outside.

This is very abnormal.

I would take it back. What's the dealership's return policy?

Why hasn't anyone made a sticky for this yet? No one wants a little fame?

I think mine is doing this too,

When the car is warmed up, in neutral, ac off, vets off, blower off, radio off. Every 1-2 mins I hear a clicking noise, the best way I can describe it that it sound like when the ac compressor/condenser turned on and off but not as loud..

What is this?

This noise you speak of is called flywheel chatter and is completely normal, nothing to worry about.

I don't think it's normal for stock clutch's. I have owned a ClutchMaster's Stage 4 4 puck clutch and it chattered but only because of the design and the materials that are used. I wouldn't think that Nissan would make a loud clutch like that; they would be looking for the quiet ride because Z's are well insulated as it is.

I had a similar noise from my Z - it turned out to be a bad cat-convertor. The element broke and rattled when the car idled or was reved slightly. Replaced under warranty but now the other one does it.
