no power getting to ballast...
So I had recent head light issues and bought an aftermarket HID kit on ebay.
1st install no success determined it was a ballast issue, returned to seller and new one shipped to me.
2nd install no success, tested both ballast and bulb, all works, but only on passenger side. It seems that I am not getting any power to the driver side ballast. The red and black wires don't have either enough juice or no juice at all. If I move the driver side ballast and bulb to passenger side it works, which rules out the ballast and bulb.
Why am I not getting any power to the ballast? Could it be a fuse problem? How can I check? any help would be appreciated

I believe the fuse for hid's is in the fuse box on the side of your battery area. Not the one actually under the cover, but along the side of the engine bay with a black plastic cover over it.

Would a blown fuse cause the no power to get to the ballast? I am getting power to the passenger side.
How many fuses are there and what does it look like when it is burned?
Any images would help
Thank you!

I guess its possible, it would be that or something wrong with the wiring most likely.
I believe there is a separate fuse for each side. There should be a diagram either on the fuse box cover or beneath it labeling each fuse.
You can tell if a fuse is blown by the little U shaped piece of metal in the middle. If the U is intact it should but not always be good. If the U has a gap in it its blown.
If you need some more help pm me and ill try to get some pics.
