Default CEL While driving

On my way to work today I was driving normally. About 20 minutes away from when I get to work the CEL comes on. I turned off my radio so I could listen to the engine. Everything sounded normal, It purred just like usual. I checked all my guages and they have normal read outs. Anyone ever experience this? I have not done anything to the car except drive it. Actually yesterday I did notice that my radiator fluid was a little below the minimum. I'm going today to get more.

Also, I have the service manual. Where in the manual does it cover ECU diagnostics? Maybe that will shed some more light on the situation.

Thank you for your help!

Quite possibly your gas cap, in which case you will need a software upgrade or the light will probably come on again soon.

This happened to me the first time I ran it a "little" too close to empty and then some spirited driving on a windy & hilly road. It went away a few days later. The dealer said it was a normal response, no problems...

OMG, I've read the entire post thinking CEL was Cell phone.
I was like, yeah his cell phone came on and he turned off his radio to answer his phone. Finish reading it and like, er whats the problem? or was he intrigue with the sound of the Z.

Man, only reading the response did I realized CEL was Check Engine Light.
