HELP... STOCK 350z has no power, vibrates, and the SES light is blinking
its called a super mega... its for the z32 maf... i fabbed it up to work on the Z.. cost me like 145 bucks and i had it laying around..
again i was referring to MY 350z as a POS not all 350zs....
all of this bashing is quite uncalled for, i looked around and found nothing. I made a post hoping that this was maybe a common problem seeing how its a fairly new car and not ragged on... i guess its not, but amature member PMd me and helped me out.
i was going to become an active member on here but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth

misfire since I had a bad coil pack and that is what mine did, but it would still have been just a guess. The main thing the SES light is for is to tell you to check the code, which is why they designed the thing to begin with.
No bashing intended on my part. And the reference to age is a common joke on this board. So anyway, what was the problem, now that you "know"?
I agree it may be as simple as a bad plug so I would check the plugs if you cant get it in to a dealer right away.
so i got the code pulled and its 0603 i think... its a pending missfire on cyl 6..
i think it may be the spark plug but could be the cp... im going to swap cp with cyl4 and swap plugs with cyl2 and see if the problem jumps which i hope

the guy told me it was an igntition problem... think the tester told him that or do you think he was just guessing? i know injectors can cause a missfire too i was jw
Any trained mechanic will tell you, a blinking SES (Service Engine Soon or Check Engine) light means the car is having a severe misfire...hence why you're feeling the vibration.
Just check the damn spark plugs and coil packs already!
Just replace all the spark plugs. They're cheap.
Since all the plugs will be out, run a compression test on all the cylinders as well.

here's the answer. no need to post anymore in the thread til these steps are done.
ok so the misfire is in cyl6 so i put cyl 6 CP in cyl 4 and cyl 6 spark plug in cyl 2 and the car misfires but the SES light isnt on.. i guess thats because i had it cleared and it has to set it back off.. im going to take it to advanced tomorrow and see if the problem jumped to a diff cylinder.
so how much do CPs usually go for?
