Default Problem: Front Turn Signal is OUT, rear blinks real fast (already troubleshooted)

Ok, so my front driver side turn signal is out. It happened out of the blue the other day. The rear blinks very fast. I took the bulb out and replaced it. I have base headlights by the way. I replaced it with the 7440 bulb and it didnt work. I tried the other bulb in the same package, and it didnt work again. Anyone have ANY suggestions?

I even took my rear turn signal bulb and put it in the front, and it still didnt work.

Did you check fuses? I dunno if it's a different fuse for the front and rear, but it's a place to go and kill some time whilst waiting for more educated responses.

I was looking for the fuses. Is it the under hood, or in car fuse box? I didnt see a fuse for it...

How about checking the Blinker Fluid?

How to change it:

I am going to try a 7443 bulb, and see what happens.

In MOST cars, when the front goes out, the rear blinks faster and vice versa.

The front turn signal bulb is a T20. At least on my '05.

^^ I agree, if you replace both front and rear that should fix your problem.

After reading a bunch of threads on the turn signal bulb type, 99% of them said 7440, so I went with that.
Since that didnt work, like i said before, I went and got 7443 bulbs, and they worked. That was my problem. Thanks.

i have this same problem... i bought 2 new bulbs and tested the old bulb with a 12v source and all three of them work, but at the turnsignal harness/connector, nothing happens. i dont understand, the other front turn signal works fine as does the two rear ones, there can't possibly be a fuse for each individual signal, or is there??

I'm having a similar issue here.

I installed some silver turn signals and they worked fine for a few days and then one stopped working. I replaced it with the old working bulb and its still not working. Does anyone know what fuse controls the turning signals so that I can replace it?
