Default Gap in Passenger Window

There is a very small gap left after I roll up the passenger side window. This gap is not wide enough to let water in when it rains but I can hear the wind blowing - especially while driving on the freeway.

Things I tried to solve this; but did not help:
1. Rolled the window all the way down and then up.
2. Made sure there is nothing obstructing the window movement - such as the rubber casing or dust or any such things.
3. Tried closing the window while it is at the top most position - this seems to close the gap/stop the noise for a quick second - but it comes right back.

Anything else I can try before taking it to the dealer? What do you think the dealer will possibly recommend to fix this issue? New window motor? Reassembling the window?

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion. Where can I find instructions on how to 'reset' the window motor?

Thanks.

Actually - I found the post on how to do it upon searching. Thanks!

i dont think its the window motor because your window is going up and down as you command it to go up and down. In my opinion it might be just reassembling the window, maybe the window regulator, or even so maybe you have an aftermarket window that just doesnt fit right. Whatever it might be, i think you should take it to a mechanic to really solve the problem.

I had a similar issue last month with the wind noise and thought it could be a window gap. I didn't notice until opened the door up and started looking around but it was actually the rubber trim piece between the stock tweeter location/side mirror. The section that touches the window when it is rolled up had a slight tear in the rubber. It didn't seem like much but it was just enough to let air whistle through. The replacement was about $30 from the dealership, put it on myself and no more wind noise at all. Be sure to check that spot and if it has even the slightest tear replace that and it should clear up the noise.
