When I accelerate from a stop, I hear this buzzing noise that sounds like a fly or a gnat. It's pretty quiet and I can only hear it when the radio is off. I sounds like something is vibrating. I doubt that it is a serious problem and there is no change in engine performance when I hear the sound.

Please advise.

but the sound is not gone when i turn on the radio...it just appears to be gone because the radio drowns out the sound.

Seriously though if it is only heard when the radio is off then don't worry about it, its called a car and they make noise.

Where's the noise coming from? Engine, exhaust, under the car, inside the car, behind the dash, inside the door, rear compartment?

i had the same problem.after a while i pinpointed to the passenger side lower dash panel.its where the passengers knees would be,dont know the actual name of the part.theres a metal brace or bracket type thing behind it and the plastic is vibrating when you take off,stuck a piece of sound deadner stuff and it stoped that buzzing noise.someone on here actualy suggested i look in that area.
