Hi,
My 2004 350z shakes when engaging 1st, reverse and downshifting. A little history; January had clutch chatter took to AAMCO (i know bad idea) they jacked it up, long story short. My z has all new clutch assembly including flywheel.(dealer installed courtesy of AAMCO) and while it was there had nismo exhaust added. The dealer can't determine the shake, they said probably bushing starting to go somewhere. The car has 76,000 mi and drives great going up the gears. Any input would help, I've owned car since new, really love it. Trying to get back to fun driving.

How many miles are on the new clutch-flywheel?

 

About 3000 miles on new clutch flywheel set up.

 

With only 3,000 miles I would assume that Nissan will honor their work and fix it.

 

They have had the clutch/flywheel apart twice nothing wrong, had an open work order that they consulted specialist at Nissan Corp. ( no solutions). They advise me to drive it until it is worse and somethingis visually able to be detected in the parts. Like cracked or damaged bushings.
i dont know.
