Default The run around

so i got an auto 06 with some work to it. i got the rear axle clicking and i have 53000 on it. i took 'lily' to the stealership and they said the tsb wasn't covered as part of my drivetrain. the only way they could replace anything IF the whole axle had to be replaced and the ****ers charged me .5 hours of labor for me driving him to the damn parking lot and get out of the car and listen to me drive (that ****r) and me drive him back. when i got back the lady told me it was gonna b 400 to fix both axle and 200 for 1!! i got my oilchange and they charged me 40 for it and 40 for labor!!! should i try another stealership? of course dammit im calling the beach. lol here i go answering my own questions. any advice on what i should do?

****n furious in sc ------

I have had the same response from dealerships regarding the axle clicking. Try posting this in your local forum and see who has had good luck with the different dealerships in the area. Also, you have pm.

I have an 05 with the same clicking. I haven't tried getting it covered yet by the dealership. Keep us updated on what the outcome is. I'm curious as I'm about to go through the same thing

I had the axle-clicking on my '05 done under the TSB and the price they had on the workorder (which I didn't pay) was $125. I don't know if their warranty work prices are lower than retail, but that gives you a reference point anyway.

Are you saying you paid $80 for an oil change? Even if I used their synthetic oil (Valvoline) it'd be around $60. I take my own oil and they charge me around $19. You're getting skewered.

No problem. I will also add that calling Nissan USA will prove to be nothing more then a waist of your time. Let us know if you have any luck.
