Default HELP PLZZZZ Car won't start

Hey guys,

So today i planned on painting my reflectors. I drive into my garage, turn my wheels all the way to the right, since im going to be taking off my left reflector first, and I get out and jack up the car. I peel the wheel well off enough for my hand and screwdriver to fit in. Take off the left reflector, and try to turn on the car to move my wheels to the other side to take out my right reflector. Only, the keys wont move and I can't start my car. What is the reason? Never happened before. I tried locking and unlocking the car, panic button, but nothing works. Plz help.

Try jiggling the steering wheel when trying to turn the key. The pressure of the wheel against the lock mechanism is what's keeping your from turning the key.

I assume you must have an automatic. If so, just wiggle the steering wheel back and forth while you turn the key. That should enable you to start the car. It is just the steering wheel lock preventing you from turning the key.
