Default Chattering/Clicking sound from rear wheel

Hey everyone, just wanted to know if any of you are having the same problem i am. I've only noticed this at slower speeds. When going forwards or backwards from a standstill, i hear a chattering or clicking noise from the rear pass wheel area. I've had other people confirm this from outside the car. It almost sounds like the suspension creeking, but i'm pretty sure that's not it. It will do this going into second gear also. If i accelerate really slow, the noise isn't there. It seems to only happen if the car is in gear. It also happens when i downshift into 2nd from a decent speed. I have an appointment on friday (great, quick dealer service.. yeah right... I made the appointment last week) I just wanted to know if you guys had any ideas of what this is, since my local dealer doesn't seem to know anything about Z's at all.

I can't find the post but someone posted about this creak/click sound. I just developed it also...identical symptoms.
The prior post said that the dealer re-torqued bolts in the half-shaft or hub. I retorqued every bolt I could see but this didn't improve the noise. I'm taking mine to dealer next week. If anyone finds the prior thread please post.

Try this. I had the same problem.

I plan on taking the car into the shop, but I've just been waiting for some free time.
