PLEASE HELP!!! Service Engine Soon, TCS OFF, SLIP Lights, Car won't go!
Hey guys.. this might be a coincidence but yesterday we had an alarm install on my girlfriends 350z. Everything was fine until we were about to leave. The Service Engine Soon, TCS OFF, and SLIP lights are all on and you can floor the gas pedal and the car will barely go.
When you start the car the rpms drops and the car dies or rpm drops and it has a rough recovery to idle or you give it a little gas when starting and it will idle
I have pulled the battery for 6 hours and tried again and the lights are still there. I even tried the manual ECU reset by turning key on and hitting gas pedal but nothing.
ANYONE?? I have not pulled codes yet.

Bring it back to the shop that installed the alarm and tell them to fix it. I think its a waste of money to have an aftermarket alarm installed since its already equipped with one and an immobilizer.
Ya think???? You should have left the car there for them to fix and not even bothered to try and drive it. My guess is that they either left something disconnected or they hacked into the harness and either cut a line or grounded/shorted something.
The symptoms indicate a failed Cam Position Sensor but for the life of me I can't make the connection between that and an alarm install. But agree that the alarm shop should be making the fix. Tell them to get the code read first so maybe they can figure out how they effed up your car. I don't believe in coincidences...
