Default Whats up with my idle

ok a lil info to start i own a 2005 350z base model im about to turn the grand old corner of 80,000 mile yikes i understand my car is getting up there and is at the point i should start expecting issues which is why im currently restoring everything worn or old on my car soon with an N/A beast

ok this morning i started my car and for the seconded time going from work to get some breakfast and i noticed when i turned it on it idled at 2000 rpm something a bit odd, because the highest iv ever seen it idle was at 1200 on a cold day till she warmed up, she took forever to go back to normal around 750rpm but it took flipping forever after pulling out i was in second gear with my foot off the gas my car kept moving on its own because the idle was so high

well after driving around and putting it in neutral(right outside the parking lot) it slowly went back down to about 900 rpm which is higher than normal
its continued to do this even on warm or hot starts after sitting for a bit

my friend said something about an idle limiter sensor gone bad but im not sure if that even exist in my car
so can someone help me and tell me what up with my car weeather=i can drive on it or a while or is it something that needs to be replaced asap
